Hello all:

We thought we would give you a quick update on where we stand with the next version of Mobile Learning Tool. Development of the solution is nearing completion and testing is underway putting us on track for a public release date in Q3 of 2011.

For Mobile Learning customers who are still using the MDTS (Mobile Delivery and Tracking System) and LMA (Learning Mobile Author) products, this release date holds particular importance as our policy is to only provide software maintenance services for the current release and one prior release of the software.

Effective end of September 2011 we will no longer provide software maintenance services, meaning service packs and defect corrections, for OutStart Hot Lava Mobile MDTS (Mobile Delivery and Tracking System) and LMA (Learning Mobile Author).

Out next generation Mobile tool has two modules:
1. PowerPoint Developer which replaces LMA and is available at no charge to all existing Hot Lava Mobile customers, whose contract is up to date
2. MDE, which is compatible with MTDS, provides all the MTDS functionality and more and is also available to all AD-CONNECT Mobile customers whose contract is current.

The new version is ready and will be announced as Hot Lava Mobile 2011 Summer edition. Once released we will continue to provide technical support for LMA and MDTS via AD-CONNECT SOCIAL, but we will no longer investigate or correct any potential software defects.
